Banana Waffles with Pecans


1/2 cup pecans
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup yellow cornmeal
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 1/4 cups milk
1 1/2 sticks unsalted butter, melted
3 large eggs, separated
2 large ripe bananas, quartered lengthwise and cut into 1/2-inch pieces
1/4 cup sugar
maple syrup, for serving


Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Spread the pecans in a pie plate and bake for 10 minutes, or until golden. Let cool, then coarsely chop. Lower the oven temperature to 225 degrees F.
Preheat a waffle iron. In a large bowl, whisk the flour with the cornmeal, baking powder and salt. In a small bowl, combine the milk, melted butter and egg yolks. Stir the liquid into the dry ingredients just until moistened; lumps are okay. Fold the bananas into the batter.
In a clean bowl, beat the egg whites at medium speed until frothy. Increase the speed to high and beat until firm peaks form. Add the sugar and beat until the whites are stiff and glossy. Fold the whites into the batter until no streaks remain.
Oil or butter the waffle iron. Pour 1 1/4 cups of batter into the iron and bake until the waffle is golden, about 6 minutes, depending on the iron. Transfer the waffle to an oven rack to keep warm. Continue to cook the remaining batter in 3 batches. (There should be no need to regrease the iron between waffles.) Separate the waffles and serve with the toasted pecans and maple syrup

Resepi Pasta Primavera

Bahan-bahannya
50 gr fettuccini kering
500 ml air untuk merebus
150 gr daging dada ayam, hiris memanjang
75 gr brokoli, lepaskan kecil-kecil dari kuntumnya, rebus sebentar
75 gr lobak merah, kupas dan sagat halus
50 gr mayonaise
2 sdm keju parmesan
2 sdm minyak zaitun
1 ulas bawang putih, cincang
½ sdt garam
½ sdt basil kering
½ sdt daun parsley cincang

Cara membuatnya
1. Rebus fettucini, tambahkan garam dan 1 sdm minyak zaitun sampai masak. Angkat dan toskan
2. Panaskan 1 sdm minyak zaitun, tumis bawang putih dan daging ayam sampai berubah warna
3. Masukkan brokoli, lobak merah, garam, basil dan parsley. Aduk rata. Dan angkat.
4. Campur dan aduk fettucini bersama sayuran tumis dan mayonaisse
5. Taburi keju permesan. Pasta Primavera siap disajikan.

Resepi Pasta Sos Salmon Lazat

Bahan yang diperlukan:
150 gr penne pasta, rebus
100 gr fillet salmon, potong-potong
50 ml double cream
10 gr bawang putih, ketukketukkan
20 gr bawang besar, potong agak halus
10 gr daun bawang, potong-potong
10 ml minyak zaitun
Garam secukupnya

Cara Memasaknya:
1. Panaskan minyak zaitun. Tumis bawang putih dan bawang besar sampai wangi. Masukkan potongan salmon. Tambahkan double cream dan garam. Aduk rata. Masukkan penne pasta. Aduk rata.
2. Angkat dan sajikan di piring. Tabur potongan halus daun bawang di atasnya (jika suka). Sajikan hangat-hangat dengan sos cili atau tomato.

PENGAT KELADI

Bahan-bahannya:-
1 ketul keladi sederhana besar
1 cawan bubur caca
3 camca besar sagu biji, cuci dan toskan
500 ml santan
1 helai daun pandan, disimpul
1 ketul gula melaka
1/2 cawan gula pasir
1/4 camca teh garam
Air secukupnya
Cara membuatnya:-
1- Kupas keladi, potong kiub (sederhana besar), cuci dan rebus 3/4 empuk. Toskan.2- Masak gula melaka dan gula pasir bersama 1 cawan air hingga gula larut. Tapis air gula dan ketepikan.3- Cuci bubur caca dan rebus dgn 500 ml air hingga lembut. Masukkan keladi, air gula dan daun pandan. Biar mendidih.4- Masukkan sagu biji, garam dan santan. Masak hingga keladi empuk. Tambah air jika pengat kelihatan agak pekat.
